Hi,

I have Koni adjustables on my R32 GTS4 and also have my suspension lowered,

the ride is very rough and rigid (good for the track but not the West Suburbs) :)

I am getting the suspension raised slightly but also want to put some better

shocks on it and need your advice on what you think provides the best ride

in a 32.

Opinions are great - as so far I've heard too many opinions from people

who don't know too much about 32s.

Thnx :D

Probably more the spring rates that have been used :D

Could be you need something a little softer in the front and rear and you will be set.

Mine is like a rock, kidney bashing everything i get into it!

Give Ralph a call down @ Tru Track Suspension.

He is in Nth Melb, helped me a number of times.

often overlooked but check your tyre pressure

if its mega rock hard you can try loosing some pressure

30psi should be soft 35psi should be good all round and 40psi will be rock hard

you might be able to find a comprimise

I personal have taken my car to CentreLine Suspension (Thomastown), refer to my sig below for details. The guys there are great and have taken good care of my car.

Personally i would recommend a set of Aust delivered Tein-Supper Streets. That's that i have recently purchased and with the limited use i have experience so far (car has been off the road for 10 months), they are far better than the other two sets of coil-overs i had in the car.

I'd recommend some TEIN FLEX coilovers, great for street use and moderate track use.

Plenty of adjustment and won't cost you a great deal. People have commented how well it rides compared to other brand coilovers.

I am currently running a set in my R32 and have had no issues since installation.

Feel free to come around and have look if you want to get an idea of what they are like.

You will always get a bumpy ride with lowered/harden suspension.

As Abu said You can try a set of Tein Flex cuz they have the damping force which is adjustable to give a more comfortable ride.

I have CUSCO Suspension in my R32 and the ride is friggin hard. It's lowered with a front strut brace and I also have a Flow Brace in the middle of the car which makes really stiff.

i've got koni shocks and king springs in my 32 GTS4 too. I don't know the spring rate as they were already on the car when i bought it.

I've just had Centreline Suspension lower the platform adjustment on the Koni's to the lowest setting which is still very user friendly IMO.

Luckily KONI australia is based in vermont across the road from access perfomance. They have everything you could ver imagine KONI wise and they have some very competant technicial staff there that deal with many race teams etc.... if they cant sort it no-one can. what have you set the internal dampers too?

the company is called toperformance

Has anybody actually been over to Toperformance lately? I went there about a month ago and it looked like it's changed into some regular mechanic garage?
