Quiet Tyres

Hi all i can get federal 235/45/17 for $100 each i have them on already but find them very noisy anyone know of some quieter tyres that perform as well as the federals?

Dont you drive a Skyline? - You shouldnt be able to hear them over your exhaust note

I just put some on mine to REPLACE the noisy ones that were on there. (That and also because they were too big, the less noise was the bonus.)

I had the federals and they were noisy, i now have the toyo t1r proxies and the are heaps less noisy than the federals, but cost allot more, but also grip much better also. The old saying goes, pay peanuts you get monkeys!!!

What has that got to do with anything?

How many different brands and patterns of tyres have you used? Im sure that you havent tried them all and if you had you wouldnt make comments like that.

You need Yokohama decibel V550's

Silent tyre !!! + extra Performance silicone grip.

It is absolutely worth the extra dollars. They even wheel spin at a quiet note.

Yokohama A500's are just as quiet without the extra silicone for wet performance. Just not sure if they come in your size. Also you might want to compare whether the ones you have have silicone at the moment.

I rechecked this - the A500's are actually quieter than the V550's
