I had the federals and they were noisy, i now have the toyo t1r proxies and the are heaps less noisy than the federals, but cost allot more, but also grip much better also. The old saying goes, pay peanuts you get monkeys!!!

What has that got to do with anything?

How many different brands and patterns of tyres have you used? Im sure that you havent tried them all and if you had you wouldnt make comments like that.

Yokohama A500's are just as quiet without the extra silicone for wet performance. Just not sure if they come in your size. Also you might want to compare whether the ones you have have silicone at the moment.

I rechecked this - the A500's are actually quieter than the V550's
