the date/year is very faded.... is there some way you can get a beter pic??

edit.... actually, thats the customer name at the bottom that is faded... it looks like the date (3rd row) hasn't even been filled out... how many kms are on the car now???

just service it anyway.... if that's what you're concerned about...its not a timing belt sticker either... so have another look under the engine bay for one of them.... cos you'd be close to needing one done if it hasnn't been done

the sticker in the bottom attachment reads something like:

Caution when repainting

The paint in the car uses fluorine, so please be sure that you have clearance to handle fluoro chemicals when working on the pant. If you are unsure then please contact your local customer service branch.

Hey Shan,

Are you sure on that bit about chemical use clearance? I translated that one as asking the repairer to use Fluorine Resin Clearcoat.. my direct tranlsation reads:

"Caution when repairing paintwork.

This vehicle is a Fluorine Resin vehicle, hence when conducting paint repairs please ensure that Fluorine Resin Clearcoat is used. If you are unsure, please consult with the nearest Nissan involved sales company."

Splitting hairs... but hey, you were quicker than me.

btw the blue sticker says something about "at time of storage" then the km's and the name of the person who did the entry.

I'm assuming the two lines below it will be "at time of release" and the date, km's and the name of the person who does that entry.

dunno if that's a service sticker... sounds like a storage facility sticker.

you're most probably right, I'm just using a half arsed understanding of japanese and guesswork inbetween. Actually what you posted makes sense... moreso than what I posted.
