any nissan harness will work, readily available on ebay and performance shops. I think your real concern should be connecting fake/inferior electronics to your car and the associated risks involved. Read this first.

Thanks for the advice Chook...

I'm going send it back to the guy from ebay and get my refund...Better to be safe than sorry

I had a similar experience with a PIVOT TT, obvious fake, read about how they can get hot and catch fire....took a lot of emails and threats to get my money back.

Don't worry i just went through it. Spoke to a friend of mine and he brought the same one as mine and had all sorts of problems. I told the guy i want my money back...and he refunded me. Now i just have to send it back to him

Well I just installed my GReddy Full Auto Timer.. going really nice. I've got it mounted under the park brake release. Also I haven't connected the speed wire to the ECU (yet - still considering it)

The funny thing I noticed when me and my best mate while installing the timer is that the park brake safety wire can't be connect as the footbrake is wired differently (On normal handbrakes - it's should be 12V when the handbrake is on and 0V when the handbrake is off therefore the car will turn off as the turbo timer will turn on. but on the footbrake it's 0V when the footbrake is on and 12V when it's off)

That sounds very weird..Anyone else experienced this and is there is a work-a-round??

i installed a HKS tt using the footbrake, had no problems, works. TT handbrake wire connected to the brown foot brake switch wire.

I think you had the correct wire, 12V when off,

UPDATE..

Well after installing the alarm....My TT is reseting itself during normal driving. When i go to accelerate I can see it reset itself. It still works but obviously when out on a long drive and have it in auto mode it will reset and lose the amount of time it does. When it does reset i can hear the ignition barrel click like you've just turn the car on then it resets...At the moment I have spliced the wires to the ignition but I really do want to find the ignition harness for my TT for the piece of mind.

A Silly question...will the HKS harness work on the TT. Also if I do find the GReddy Harness...which one do i get??

Ended up selling it and getting married having kids (yadda yadda) we all know how the story goes. Good to be back and can't wait to get back an Import again.
    • I have to put something here in order to post the photos. From what I could gather there's more enthusiasm for modified cars now than there has been for years. There were probably more younger people there than older (me included lol) which was a good sign.  It did seem like the record least amount of representation of the 90's era hero cars on display though. Like maybe one or two examples of S-chassis Nissans, and maybe 3 or 4 R-chassis. By comparison there were a lot of Civics from that era but in all there were about 10 - 12 EG/EK Civic Type R.  Euro exotics are always there in large numbers, led by Liberty Walk...... say what you will about kids using markers to scribble on a Ferrari F40, it did seem like a stunt to infuriate Ferrari enthusiasts, or Ferrari itself. I wonder if there's something more to it. Either way LBWK have done some heinous things to a Lamborghini Miura this time. They should stop now.
