im guessing its an aftermarket pump, and when your running low on fuel, the sound of it pumping or buzzing echos more in the emptier tank making it more audiable.

Fuel types arent going to change the sound

Thanks guys. its been like that for awhile now i got no idea on how to get to it either( PUMP) As i was the first owner in australia and it just came like that.

Like i said everytime the tank is full it does this how would i know that this is a aftermarket item or just needs a replacement?

Would be over the moon if it was aftermarket hahaha :(

is it a stocker? only when filling up? does it make that sound when you prime it everytime or just filling up which is quite strange. if it wasnt doing it before then first assumption is its on its last legs.

hopefully someone with more experience can shed some light

Mate i only really notice it when im idle, cant hear it over the exhaust

a dyno will tell you if your fuel pump is not meeting the needs of your air to fuel ratio. otherwise if you start feeling fuel cuts through the rev range i'd start considering a new pump. but if not, you have nothing to worry. :D
