@ GTS4WD: I second that, id take the auto, but no swaps lol, im over the new P's laws already, makes people selling turbo cars so much harder.

LOL... aye... but then selling non-turbo cars ain't easy either... P-platers are becoming wussy and not willing to fork out to buy these awesome cars... Where have the car nuts gone? Where are the Jeremy Clarksons, who would mortgage their homes for a car (if he wasn't married with 3 kids)?

hey mate would u be interested in swaping for a 99 vt commodore, 144000km's, very good condition, cd player, tow ball, white, auto rego till november. does urs have rego?

Not really... Sorry. Thanks for offer though.

BUMP

parts coming in from Japan....

b) Pair of white wing mirrors

c) Pair of white wing mirror add-ons, which have yellow indicator LED strips over them... look at picture...

these will be provided for an extra $400.... the LED wing mirror add-on is worth that much alone...

Picture of part ©

Also have a wood-trim kit for car... not installing in case new owner doesn't like the effect.... but can be provided for extra $50 (ebay sells it for $180 incl postage and RRP is $400).

Item: Nissan Skyline R33 GTS Sedan from 1994

Location: Sydney, NSW

Website: Trading Post ad

Item Condition: Excellent

Reason for Selling: Want Toyota Cressida or Vl Calais (may consider others, so pm or reply here), also can't afford insurance ($1600 for $3500 of excess...:ermm: ), so NO IMPORTS.... sorry... maybe next year.

View this as a MUCH better alternative to your Camrys, Commodores (the base model ones), Falcons (same thing again), Accords, etc... Its a fast and nimble, yet comfortable and practical 4-door family sedan. With technology that's durable and not found in new family cars today.

Price and Payment Conditions: NOT $8,888 NOT $8378 BUT

$7500 ono with FREE Road Angel GPS, with latest Sirf Star III chip.

Want this car gone, have another one in mind....

Extra Info: Price is Negotiable.

BAD POINTS:

Car has got re-tread tyres, good time to think about getting rims.

One tyre's retread is ripped.

Small 5-cent rust spot at bottom of rear windscreen.

2 vinyl tears in door trim (can be repaired using stuff from SuperCheap Auto).

Scratches around plastic trim for electric window switches.

Right parker light is out, needs bulb replaced.

Remote key needs contact for battery re-soldered.

Wing mirrors are different colour. due to previous owner having no time to respray after wing mirror clipped car park pillar.

GOOD POINTS:

Engine superbly maintained by previous owner (only have had car for 1 month, selling due to ridiculous insurance quotes).

Has HICAS 4-wheel drive system, which was on R32 GTR.

Has 5 speed automatic gearbox, which is NOT found on turbo versions of this car. Very smooth gear changes, 1 gear makes a huge diff for the automatic gearbox.

Sedan, so you can use as family car.

Have put blue LED lights for dashboard.... looks really cool.

Have JL front splits installed, rear speakers are unknown 6" (came with car).

Have Alpine headunit, can control iPod from headunit (don't have the cable though).

Been running BP Ultimate for the few months through car.... very smooth running now.

Have repainted exterior plastic door trims, so now in deep black.

4 NEW tyres

Car has had major service done recently. Changed the cambelt (aftermarket), bearings, power steering fluid (Castrol), brake fluid (Super DOT Castrol), brake pads (QFM) changed & engine oil (Castrol Magnatec). Car stops on the mark better, steering is lighter and more responsive and engine is more responsive.... would recommend also doing a A/T fluid change to get the best results (apprx. $200 already bought A/T fluid)

This is a rare Series 1 R33 sedan, don't buy a coupe which you're going to have to sell when you have a family. This is a car you can live with everyday and brings a smile to your face.

Selling because i want a change... looking for a subaru liberty GX 91-94 in manual... with the hill clutch control feature.

Test drive car ANYTIME sleep at 2am... only for viewing after the 13th of May 2008. Car located in Epping, NSW (Sydney).

    • Just had a look, they don't. Fuelling on the base map is purely alpha-N, and the ignition table is MAP. Remember it's just a base map to get the car moving
    • Hi everyone, I’m Dave from Canberra. Here's a few pics of my 1992 R32 GTST coupe which I imported back in 2006. Only mods so far are HKS Hi-power cat back exhaust, K&N filter, ATC Volanti steering wheel, Pioneer stereo, amp and sub. This was my daily driver up until 2015 and sadly hasn’t been driven at all in the last 5 years due to marriage, work, and kids taking up most of my time and spare cash.As such its in need of a bit of TLC and one of my goals for this year is to get it back to running condition and maybe look into club/historic rego. I’ve joined SAU so I can ask a few questions along the way (although I promise to google Current Problem +SAU beforehand!)
    • From talking to the mx5 guys the NC doesn't actually need bonnet vents like the earlier NA and NB models, due to a better designed cooling system and undertray design There's plenty of them used as street cars and weekend track toys running anywhere from around 170 to 250kw with stock non vented bonnets, I initially was going to get some bonnet vents, but, as they are not actually required, I'll put vents on hold for a while and just monitor temps, though I do need to get something to actually monitor engine oil temps though, coolant temp can be pulled from the OBD2, but the oil gauge in the car is not actual oil temp, it is only a calculation based off coolant temp and RPM ☹️ They do recommend upgrading the radiator, which I have already done with a triple pass, and the only other thing they recommend for a street car is heat management, like I talked about above to protect bits in the engine bay from radiant heat, and to either replace the nearly 20 year old plastic coolant expansion tank, which I have done, or get a aftermarket alloy jobbie for some bling They did also say that if I wanted to track the car on occasion a oil cooler and sump baffle would be required, and as I already have had a sump baffle installed when the engine was out......... I'm going to get a oil cooler with a thermostat....... just in case I do eventually track the car, but probably not, but still maybe...🤪
