Hey Guys,

I've recently noticed my radiator is starting to corrode at the front... which is kind of saying that it needs to be changed soon.

Just wondering whether you guys could give me some advice on where to get one and what price i should be roughly looking at?

Changing a radiator your self should be quite easy right? Couple of bolts on top and undo the hoses and it should slide right out? Then Reverse with new radiator and fill up again with new fluid?

Thanks for you help

Oops forgot to say, im situated in Perth, Western Australia and i have a R33 RB25DET.

If you go anything bigger than stock or made from a different material it may not run the best. Built into the ecu are temperature & temperature correction tables that have been setup for the stock radiator. Just means all the temperature readings may be a bit out hence leaner/richer mixtures etc.

Make sure u drain all the old water out of the block. There is a hole underneath exhaust manifold for this.

Bleed the cooling system when you fill it. Near the plenum/manifold theres a bolt to syphon/remove the air bubble as you fill the system up. This air bubble usually prevents you from filling the cooling system to full capacity and ensures the top half of the head remains dry - bad!
