May as well update with some vids from DECA at the end of Feb, I had a ball:

http://decafeb09.racemeets.net/external/Sk...15%20pulsar.wmv (9.58mb)

(slow because it was my first time out).

http://decafeb09.racemeets.net/external/Sk...%20n15%20x2.wmv (9.28mb)

(again slow because I'm new at it. It's still not as slow as it looks on video.)

http://decafeb09.racemeets.net/external/Ba...15%20pulsar.wmv (5.75mb)

(faster)

http://decafeb09.racemeets.net/external/Sk...15%20pulsar.wmv (10.7mb)

(lots of flutters, this was my favourite course.)

All of the videos are viewable here: http://decafeb09.racemeets.net

There were more runs but they weren't all video'ed. Enjoy.

New mods purchased for the Poosar:

N15 S2 SSS Steering Wheel (leather goodness)

I couldn't keep my hands still and the interior hasn't been cleaned for two years, but you get the idea;

From this:

To this:

Size comparison :D

And still to install:

2x N15 S2 SSS Front Seatbelts (to replace my seatbelts that stopped retracting years ago)

2x N15 S2 SSS Sun Visors (passenger side has a mirror which was the reason I grabbed them)

2x N15 S2 SSS front indicators (to replace the dodgy de-Orange job I did on my current indicators a few years back that have now started leaking in water.)

Thanks for the kind words mate. But to to tell you the truth, I've spent nothing on it except for maintenance and making it a little more stock. It's really only got a couple of minor mods.

As a lot of Melbourne members know, I crashed my car at the last SAU VIC DECA. If anyones curious I'll post pics, it's been undergoing a facial reconstruction at the hands of my very capable panelbeater. In the meantime I'm collecting some upgrades for her:

N15 SSS 28mm front swaybar, Whiteline end-link bushes, D-bushes and steering rack mount bushes.

Some progress pics of the repairs:

A little bent but still usable:

Both the air-con condenser and radiator are a bit U-Shaped but I think I'll leave them as is, they're not leaking.

New rad support in:

Starting to get a face again:

She should be painted and back in my hands later this week.

Tow truck...what a completely familiar home:

IMG_0131.jpg

Driving it home from the panelbeater wasn't to be. That little drip from the radiator turned into a torrent. Thank god for accurate gauges though, no damage done as I managed to pull over as soon I saw the temperature gauge shoot up 30'C in a matter of seconds. Didn't get to use any of the three bottles of water I brought with me. I made the towies journey a whole 2km shorter because that's as far as I managed to drive it

So while she was bleeding her fluids and I waited for the tow truck I got some quick snaps with my phone. She's absolutely filthy, so ignore that.

A few little changes - black eyelids, black number plates and removed the JDM number plate tabs from the boot and welded the holes up. On Monday she'll get a new radiator then I'll be focusing my attention on the brakes. There are a couple of small issues, the bumper I had reconditioned is warped on one side so it sags under the headlight. I'll probably replace it in future but for the moment it'll do. My air-con condenser is still a bit bent and a thermo fan has chunks missing from the blades but both work so I may just leave them for the moment.
