Recommended Posts

hey, i have attached some pics of my 33, its in imaculate condition. it has a fully automatic blitz turbo timer, hks pod filter, full 3" turbo back exhaust system, 17" verde mags, i have put a gtr rear wing on it. i have the original impul parts for it aswell, exhaust, rims(only 3), spoiler and steering wheel. its a very rare car only 2 that are known of it australia and this one is number 133 of 200 made. runs extremely well never had a problem with it, always been garaged and serviced every 5000 kms. it has 74000kms.

im looking at putting it up for sale for around $23000. does anyone think ill have trouble getting my asking price?

any help would be great.

kind regards, dan

As much as it pains me to say it, I think you'll be lucky... but if you can get $23k for it you'd make me a very happy man. Would be interested to know what it goes for if/when you manage to sell her, please post/PM me the final price!

There are at least 5 of these now in Oz - adding yours. I knew of 3 others besides mine. I have #136.

Good luck.

It's a safer asking price than that one that was on EBAY for $80,000.....

The one on eBay is an Autech - not Impul. An Autech is basically a GTR, including an RB26, and really is a collectors item.

That said the guy is dreaming at that price when you can get a nice R34GTR VSpec Nur out of Japan for cheaper than that!

Ages ago HPi featured a dark purple(or maybe black?) Impul 33 4 door that really won me over. Maybe one of us SAU'ers has this car? soooo neat. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool 32 GT-R guy, but if I had the cash, I would love a 33 Impul as you have for a daily driver! The only thing I'd prefer more would be the Autech 4 door, but that's quite a jump in price and practicality for a 'regular' road car. Whilst I think you're aiming at the highest end of the price range for your car, good luck with the sale!

they have gotta be one of the worst wheels ive ever seen. ^^that guy went down to under 17k, so most liekly went for around 16k, which sounds about right. ditch those wheels and u will have more interest.

  • 9 years later...

Hey, i believe we bought the same car off someone local in qld.

Not sure where u sold it from but it was in rough shape when we got it so we paid 5k late last year (2016) we are slowly restoring it and building it :)

Weve spent about 8k on it so far

Its #133 of #200

    • You all are absolute legends! Thank you for helping me put this into context with your comparisons!
    • There's probably an underlying issue with the A/C system too. I recently fixed mine, now it's fully control by the Haltech and car's factory HVAC controller  Have a squiz here:
    • And by the way, I've also checked the ECU diagnostic numerous times and got a bad O2 sensor code and initially an Ignition Primary code, which is why I replaced the O2 sensor and all the ignition components (coil packa, plug and loom). No codes have been coming up lately despite the ongoing issue.
    • Hey pber13, unfortunately still no luck. At this point the following has been done with little or no success: - Spark plugs replaced, gapped to 0.8mm - Splitfire coilpacks installed to replace originals - Replaced Ignition Coil/Coilpack harness with a new genuine nissan one - New fuel filter - Replaced AFM/MAF sensor - Injectors have been thoroughly cleaned with an online flush (without removing) - Upper engine and inlet decarbed - blew tons of black smoke out, cleared the carbon deposits from the top of the engine and exhaust.  - IACV removed and thoroughly cleaned with carburettor cleaner - O2 sensor replaced with new and genuine one -  Smoke test revealed no vacuum leaks - Healthy compression test of 160psi across all 6 cylinders Overall the car does run a lot smoother now, no backfires between gear shifts like it did originally... but the rough idle when warmed up is still there. It may not even be a misfire but simply a rough idle. Seems crazy to me that so many people have had this issue and seemingly no one has gotten to the bottom of it, or at least never bothered to post if they did! Hope you have more luck than I did pber13, I'm at a point now where I'm just going to try to ignore it unless it gets worse. Would love to fix it but I've genuinely run out of ideas of what it could be.
