In the boot is fine, gt35r 1.06 ex housing 1.4bar should see around 370-380rwkw running good fuel. But it will be pretty laggy IMO a .86 ex would be better, loose 20rwkw up high, but increase average horsepower everywhere else.

Yes but faster spool than bigger turbos like HKS T04Z or Garret GT40, right?

Ι find in cheaper price than GT35R the following...

Precision Garrett SC6152RE dual Ball Bearing BOOSTED

It is Garret GT35 tuned...

For 630 whp... so 450wkw!

Do you think that it is a good choice?

http://www.precisionturbo.net/small-frame-turbochargers.php

Also how large wastegate I need? 44mm?

Those turbos are rated at flywheel horsepower, therfore the one you picked is smaller than a gt35r. Plus they are gerret turbos with a different code, so it is probably a gt30r looking at the trims available. 44mm should be about right, but there is a thread in here on how to calculate the size

bigger than 44mm.

Blitz 56mm

Trust 55mm (type R or C)

Tial 60mm

or if your on a budget and dont mind finding room for a unnecessarily big bodied gate use a 50mm turbosmart.

Why noone reply me? ;):):D

Anyway I receive my engine....

Endly it has the following parts :D:) :)

HKS Pistons

HKS Rods

HKS 272 rods

HKS adjustable gears

Nismo oil pump

But!! R32 early crank and they didn't put jun crank collar... absolutely no wear at oil pump but I need to put jun crank collar?

Also it has stock headgasket and stock studs... and we find a little water at 3rd cyllinder... the gasket was blown so we break down everything!

So I need a gasket and a arp stud kit... I will do also the "oil problems job".. external oil return and tomei oil gallery offrice!

It has acl bearing but we saw one rod bearing a little worn so we will replace with acl again the rod bearings!

Also I will put an aftermarket timing belt because it has stock!

It has Greddy 8 iridium spark plugs :)

272 cams aren't toooo big???? :| :| :|

What rev limit I need with theese monster cams?? :| :| :|

It hasn't harmonic ballancer aftermarket I don't have money to buy on

I dont think many have risked it enough as yet.

I know you have pushed it, but i don't think there are many more that have gone down the same road Paul :whistling:

What you've done is great, and im the first to back it as ive seen a few similar setups and im certainly not trying to discredit it at all.

To me the reality is 'most' people are running a full Jap bottom end (piston/rods/stock crank) or a stroker with all the fruit.

There are select people such as yourself who has pushed it and gone really well.

I'd just like to see a few more (if they are out there, post up?) and that would be enough to sway me :(

I also think $800 rods are a risk too... as if its too cheap, its too good to be ....

Hi, sorry for the late respond but I just came across this thread.

I am presently running a S14 Silvia with rb26 with stock internals rb26 except for 260 degree cams. To date i have made 606whp, and i am using a garrett T04z turbo.

You dont need that much power to make a SX fast, I ran my S14 in the mid 11's for a whole year on a stock internaled RB25 with a GT3076R at 1.2bar,,,, mid 11 with a 2second 60ft (its not a proper drag track, and using 17" Street ET's and track coil overs) trapping at 210kph odd

Now with a GT35 and some forged bits + better traction its a bullet and still on a decent budget

N1 pump is 100% fine as long as you have a crank collar, if your going to spend more, rather go drysump

Precision SC61 or Garrett GT3582R is fine for mid tens - they are much of a muchness power wise but the Garrett spools better. One of my mates did 10.6 on MickyT drag radials with a full weight R33 GTS25t using Jun ~260deg cams on an RB25, 272deg are pretty overkill in my opinion.

You should be able to make do with 260deg Tomei Cams, and not revving over 8000rpm - another mate of mine was running 500whp with a .82a/r GT3582R on 1.4bar with those cams on an RB26, trapped over 120mph with a full weight R32 GTR on his first outing. With a S13, pure rwd, much less weight and exactly the same setup with decent suspension and tires you should be well into the tens and >130mph.

I end with my engine...

Nismo oil pump with jun crank collar

HKS pistons, rods and 272 cams and very little porting

T04Z .84 , Turbosmart 48mm wastegate , XS power manifold

All gaskets by tomei

ARP studs head and main

ACL race series main and rod bearings

800 sard injectors

600x300x120 the core of my intercooler (gtr style)

External oil return from the head.. larger oil returns ports.. tomei oil gallery..

Big rb26 oil pan and greddy baffle kit

Water breather bottle from the intake with 3 braided hoses

About fueling... :D

Walbro on the tank..

2x044 with surge tank with two braided lines 6AN send the fuel in a twin feed large fuel rail handmade.

From the rail to the SX Performance fuel regulator with 10AN braided and from regulator to surge tank 8AN

All with aeroquip fittings!!! Oh my money!!!

I am thinking for...

# Stock intake but I am thinking for single throotle big intake..

# Os giken twin but I don't know if can handle the power...

# I will go for 3.5" exhaust without any muffler for drag use... but for road use I will put a muffler..

# I don't have more money but I want a crank pulley... ROSS or ATI to be sure safe...

Also a tuner will remap my stock ecu with two Z32 maf...

Edit.... I just bought ATI RACE DAMPER PULLEY!!!!! BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!!!
