Why The Difference

been on the net on ebay, a guy is selling a turbo, printed on the front are the marks 45V4, the front compressor has 6 fins on it so to speak, mine is also printed 45V4 but has 12 fins, why??? Why is the turbo printed the same different?

thats what i was thinking, then i thaught, does it differ from car to car, eg. ones from a skyline and others from a stagea?? the rear housing seems to be standard (compared to pics of other turbos the same)

The one on the right is stock, the other is not.

Can't tell if it's a hi flow though.

they could both be stock. there is a difference in series one and series two 33 turbos, s1 is steel wheel compressor and s2 is nylon compressor wheel.

maybe theres another turbo. . . its just a display!

more than likely s1 and s2 turbos. the one on the left looks to be a s2, and the one on the right an s1.
