Mechanical Diff Oil

just was wondering do you guys put any extra additives in the oil or do you just use ls90 to fill up your 1.5 and 2 way lsd's or do you use any oil in particular to suit the mechanical diff?

Penrite Limslip 140w oil is what i have always used in the past for all my 2 ways, its around 25 bucks for 2.5L and works awesome, no additive needed

get a decent LSD / Diff oil, i have a $120 bottle here and works a treat!

i used castrol LSX 85/140 for my old 1.5way

for my carbon diff im ment to use the ATS oil, but i can get away with motul mp90

why?

i have used expensive oils and the cheaper Penrite limslip oil,ive found that the Penrite oil makes the diff's quieter, has a larger load rating (140 as opposed to 90w) and whats more its a 1/4 of the price of more expensive shit!!

if you enjoy blowing your cash on expensive oil cause it helps you sleep at night then go for it but theres nothing wrong with the cheaper alternative.

plus ive been using it for 5 years in all my drift cars, NEVER had diff probs.

i just used ls90 valvoline stuff, figured use the same stuff as a normal lsd
