Rb20det Into R33

Hey guys just wondering if you are able to put a 20 into a 33?

i cant see a problem other than the power to weight ratio ....

can anyone shed any light on this topic?

little dollars and little sense... just a cheap option.. I have a shell and need it on road for as cheap as possible

so is it allowed or not?

you would have to speak to an engineer, but i would think for power to weight and clearance reasons it shouldn't be a problem. aslong as you carry all the main safety features from the R33.

As long as the block is the same age or newer than the shell it's ok, the engine must conform to the same epa/pollution regulations as the shell or better/newer.

So you can put an r33 engine into an r32 but not the other way around...unless you get an rb20 for another later model car other the r32 it's a no!
