Intrigued as to how legal it is to put plates on a car if it isnt technically registered? Rego sticker on a car that isnt registered? Driving unlicensed car is how many points and dollars?

Totally illegal.

But I think you will find this is registered, just not as everyday road going vehicle.

Yes, so technically even if you have permits for events and you can legally drive around on them, it doesnt constitute the right to display any numberplate you wish, whether you own it or not. Whilst you have to title of Right to Display a plate it has to be on a registered vehicle if youre on the road.
