Yeah thats the only drama - they tend to go off in carparks. Its the sort of thing u would only hook up (its a simple clip, or you can run a switch to bypass it. Use the alarm with the ultrasonic sensors disabled (a switch that breaks the circuit) when parking in carparks etc, but it will still arm ur immobiliser and shock sensor. Then at night, flick the switch before u jump out and arm it. Too easy.

Just spoke to the place that did my alarm initially, (they actually do still operate lol) and was advised that it would be $280 for the part including install aswell as relay switch to be able to control the microwave sensor. Does anyone know if this is a relatively decent price? sounds ok to me but not really familiar with alarm installs.

my cousin had his alarm wired to the horn....scares the f**k out of me everytime it goes off and would scare the f**k outta the guy trying to steal your bar with his head right next to it.

does anyone know if its easy to wire the alarm up to the horn?

My dad mounted a truck air horn under the drivers seat of his FJ45 LandC'... ...Had it wired into the ignition... ...I'd get in it and forget to flick the killswitch on it... ...Warm the glow plugs for 30secs and then BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

I hated the god damn thing...

His idea was that if you were going to hot wire his 4x4 your head would be right in front of the damn thing...

thats quite expensive in my opinion.

Mongoose M80 can be upgraded to microwave/ultrasonic sensors for extra $50-$100 dollars

The mongoose M80 remote can control if you want the microwave/ultrasonic sensor turned off when arming the alarm (i think you press button 1 to lock and then press button 2 on the remote straight after to disable the sensor)

The mongoose m80 microwave sensor will do a soft alarm chirp if someone tries to look through window.

Speak to Chris Rogers on the forums in regards to how effective the microwave sensor is.

Jackman, dont mean to sound paranoid, but you have just advertised the make of your alarm, your working hours and possible securing device to re-fit your front bar. At least the guys who tried to steal it, should they read the boards...will know what tools to bring I guess.

My address is not here, neither are my working hours and neither is the model of my alarm. But you are right I have said a little too much, I didnt think of that before..
