I've bent the front passenger side lower control arm on my car and I was sold an s13 lca from a wreckers who said they are the same.

I have searched and all i came up with is that r32 lca's are 2mm longer than s13's.

Can anyone confirm this and if they fit ?

Thanks

I'll have a look for you tomorrow when I'm at the workshop. I know the S14 LCA and R33 GTSt LCA are identical (you have to drill a hole in an R33 LCA to do the 5 stud conversion on an S13). So I bet the R32 and S13 are pretty similar.

R32 and S14 are identical, except the hole for the swaybar doesn't have the washer tac'd onto it. Perfect for converting S13 hubs to 5 stud S14 hubs.

S14's have a different ball joints to S13, and the bump stop for the steering rack is different.

So if you work it out, S13 is different to R32 :) So not interchangeable, unless you're doing a hub conversion.

Sorry but they aren't. When i sat them side by side the s14 was longer than the r32. And it had 4 holes vs 3 in the r32 arm. S14 cant be the same as r32 and r33 either as the r33 LCA is longer than r32

I can also confirm that the s14 arm is longer than the s13 arm. It's a common mod in s13 drift hacks used to gain track and camber.

hmmm might try and grab all 4 (S13, S14, R32, R33) and sit them side by side n get some pics... although there's a distinct possibility one of the muppets at the workshop mislabelled the LCA's lol.

Update: $200 ( :P ) later the s13 lower control arm has fitted, the r32 ball joint had to be used. There is only about 5mm clearance between the sway bar and the bigger bracket that is on top of the s13 LCA.
