Fuel Flap Latch

Can anyone tell me the right way to get to the latch assembly? It's fallen off/in and obviously I'd like to fix it.

more info or pics? is the filler door still attached but the latch that holds it closed disappeared somewhere?

Spot on, the flap is attached fine it's just the bit that it clips into has gone missing. Hopefully still attached to whatever links to the release so I can find it and reattach it.

Come on now, is it up through the wheel arch? Rip up the boot?

Where does the cable run through?

sorry I don't have a 33 handy....but I would start with boot trim for sure. In the 32 cable runs along floor at drivers side, through a hole in the rear parcel shelf above the wheel arch and into the release. I've never had a good look at it though
