As far as accurate i dont know. You would need lots to compare how accurate they are but even then you wouldnt know which one is right. (if they differ)

I bought a Saber Boost Gauge and find it to be accurate and looks great. not too hard to install.

My mate has A/F Ratio Gauage and that was easy to install and seems to be good.

And you dont need a control unit.

I don't have too much problem reading the gauge during the day, but I can agree that it's not as good as I thought it would be. It almost looks like one of the light bulbs has blown in the centre. The outside part (where you need it is bright), but the 'SABER' part and the little oC (degrees celcius) under the middle of the gauge and the inner half of the red needle seems very dim, almost like one of the lights is blown.

Its not very noticeable at night though, only during the day.

hi,

i have a new saber gauge, where you can set boost peak and also has recall. It changes to red when it hits your boost desired "redline" and beeps at you.

found it to be very good

i fitted this into my 33 with ease.

also fitted one of the older ones with no peak detect, just that standard one, also works very well.

as far as visabilty, in the rex i mounted it in the vent on the drivers side in the dash, its quite hard to see in daylight, but in the skyline, i mounted in on the pillar, and its pointed directly at me, its a breeze to see during the daylight, they only sorta become a issue when they arnt pointed at you.(note, at night you can read in the car behind lol) if that makes sense!

i love them, couldnt be happier.

saber gauges FTW
