Hey Guys,

First time poster here, just recently bought a R33 GTS Series 2 import and have done a service on it the first time myself usual, changed oil, filter, spark plugs etc.. and only use 98 octane fuel. But still seem to be having hiccups when its trying to start as it feels its about to die then will pick up revs a few seconds later.. I even put in some injector cleaner in the tank to see if that would help but hasnt changed much in it.. Is this normal or what you guys rekon that will fix it up?

Its due to have a service soon so just wondering whos a good skyline mechanic around the western sydney area to take it to who knows what theyre doing?

Cheers,

Steve

If you want specialists try Advan or Croydon racing developments, expect to pay though.

Definitely Advan, but you pay for what you get. 100k service plus replacing a castor rosd bush and vacuum hose on my S1 r33 GTST was $2k. I had teh same idle issue, turned out it was a split vacuum hose.

They also looked over the car to make sure it wasn't a lemon, and that there were no other issues. They definitely know Skylines - do a search on Ebay for their car GRACER.
