Hey guys i doing a 5-stud conversion on my car and just realised that i don't have the option of 4-stud or 5-stud on the rim. They have the option of 4x 114.3 and also the other 4-stud stud pattern (so compatible for 4-stud only)

The rims are really good: AME pridor 18" chrome rims, 5 spoke.

tires are 2 x Linglong 235/40ZR18 95W (70%)

2 x Kumho 235/40zr18 92W (98%)

Rims are in perfect conditon, i really don't want to have to get rid of them however i need 5-stud rims and tires or multistud etc.

I would prefer something similar to suit the car..however i am open to all offers so please PM or reply here in this thread.

sorry only have pictures of the rims on the car.

Hey guys does anyone have any ideas on how i will be able to get ym rims to clear brakes, even with a 8mm spacer i still hving trouble.

Atm i have 8mm spacers and a 1mm washer and they do clear the brakes nicely now however the stud bolts ain't very long and i can't get the third lock nut on for some reason?? Any more ideas? i was thinking of having the inside of the rim modified??

Hame

If you modify the rim it will be substantialy weakend. that too is illegal. bolt on spacers are perfectly safe to use as you still have all the stud length in use. If you have to have those wheels, its the only way to go.

what you have now sounds like, you are running out of thread length, which is a recepie for disaster. a rule of thumb to use is, the same length of thread to be used as the diameter of the stud. So on a skyline the studs are 12mm diameter, so the nut must screw on at least 12mm. any less & it is unsafe.
