Hi

can any damage occur if u have a few exhaust leaks + a burnt out cat??

at the moment the car drives nice (besides the power loss), i don't have any smoke etc?

it's beens like this for about 2 months, i should get it sorted soon

hey mate im having a similar problem with the leaking, mine is from the gasket we think but i have been told that it should be fine aslong as i dont give it too much, like more than mayb 6000rpm.

ud have trouble with roadworthyness tho i think.

i was quoted about 500-600 to get the gasket and studs changed so am going for new mani and exhaust instead.

As long as the cat isn't blocked and causing excess back pressure, you should be ok. Excess back pressure can cause abnormal heating of the exhaust valve / seat, causing valve stem wear or det.
