Personally speaking... I find the stock R35 GTR rims look more tough... that's just me though.

Those rims look pimp as (bling factor)! How much better would they look if the fronts had as much dish as the rear; just like previous GTRs.

I'm sure other manufacturers are working on new rims for the GTR.

I still like the std rims; so far the best looking factory rim to come out of the Nissan production line

Expect a LOT more of this... baller is the way to go to sell cars these days. The 300C was the first car to sell itself on big diameter wheels, Nissan have just copied a winning idea.

Think about what we have. An automatic, big wheel, big power, hitech Mustang with Nissan Handling and build quality.

Agreed on the Ferrari look, other people may not, but they probably don't realise that virtually every Ferrari in Japan is white.

gold sewid... pure gold.

then again, it kinda looks OK in that wheel arch... kinda like how a 22" looks quite normal on a Chrysler 300.

BTW have you guys in japan noticed this new trend of white cars with black wheels, and WHITE wheel lips?

100% agree. This will be massive in the states. 22" + rims and chopped springs. It's a shame.

i dunno if the electronic dampners will like the idea of chopped springs.

I really would have thought that with the size of the brakes on the R35 Nissan wouldnt have had any other choice than to fit 20s to it...

As for those pics :D

Nissan have just copied a winning idea.

Nissan has copied jack shit. There's a performance reason why they went for 20's, like there is a performance reason Porsche went with 19's for the 997 Turbo. They're not thinking, geez, this will get me in the good books with 50 cent :D

*sigh* they just don't get it. This is such an aesthetically "japanese" car, i mean, the head designer was referencing anime/manga for goodness sake! These crappy 22's work on euro's, but they DON'T work on such a japanese styled car.

Rims are shit

I'm not surprised they've got to 22s already, those stock tyres were something like 248/45/20 which is still a very high sidewall. I can't be stuff doing the maths but even 23" might be possible with the right tyres.

good luck finding decent tyres in 245/??/22.....probably custom?
