I get my car back this Friday from the smash repairers (not my fault), and I'm looking to do some upgrades.

So far, what I'm thinking of is:

-550cc injectors

-Bosch 040 fuel pump

-Full Power FC retune (hopefully to include multiple boost settings on AVC-R)

What I'm also looking at is would I need my turbo high-flowed? A mate of mine with an S15 had his done, and was saying that it opens it up more.

Keep in mind I have a S1 R33, and god knows the turbo probably hasn't been touched since day 1, so could probably do with a rebuild/highflow(if available).

Any other suggestions? I'm working on a bit of a budget here, don't wanna go too overboard. If this is feasible, and would yield good results, I'm all for it.

In terms of mods already, nothing substantial. Enginewise, FMIC and pod filter really. Power FC and AVC-R to control things, PFC needs a retune anyway (had to reset it a while ago), and I'm sure the AVC-R has never been looked at.

In terms of turbo, looking at slightly over 1k max, not sure whether to have it all rebuilt or to buy a new one that'll just go straight in where this one is (eg lowmount).

yep if you have the power FC already and you want to get more HP then a bigger turbo is the right way to go about it but you will need the improved fuel system to match, so injectors and fuel pump should also be done to be safe.

Yeah, I'm having the injectors and fuel pump definite, and working on what I should do re: turbo, whether to just get my stock one rebuilt so it's like new, or find one I can just drop in and have it run nicely. Not after huge power figures, but I'd like a bit more grunt when I mash the heavy pedal.

the 'common' gtst r33 person wants 250-300kw. so i would suggest a 3037. with a .62 rear, have heard nothing but good news. your could pick up a cheap one if u look hard enough.

and cams baby. gotta love those cams. some simple 256d, 9.25mm lift ones would be cool.-budget pending-

To be honest, I have no idea what the .62 rear means, looking at JustJap there's things like A/R?

And last dyno I had 202.1rwkw, was quite happy with that, though I've still got the stock AFM, so I'm thinking I'd max out at 230 with that, which is more than enough for me; I don't take it to WSID or the track, it's just a street car.

Go for the budget upgrades like I am at your power level.

Walbro fuel pump $160 (Make sure you give it a direct power feed)

6 x S15 Manual Injectors $250 (Used, another $100 for ultrasonic cleaning)

Z32 AFM and Plug $145 (Second hand)

Stage 3 ATP Hi flow turbo $1050 (Used, but only for 250km until he wrote the car off)

The above is a cheap and 100% bolt on way to achieveing a solid 230-260rwkw depending on boost level and the exact specs of the turbo you purchase.

The trick is knowing exactly what parts you need and the price to pay for them. Then just wait for them to pop up for sale.
