My Power Issues

Hey all, I own a '92 gtst coupe. Now my poblem is not with the power output of the moter but with the electrical power. For some reason by battery just cant hold a charge. I can sit there and charge it for a day with a charger and i get 2-3 days at most from it. After i jump start it i can drive it round for bout an hour, turn it off and immeadiatly try to restart it and i get no turn over. I have been told it might be an alternator issue. It aint the battery because i only bought it last year. I don't think it is my stereo doing it beacause i can do it all with the system off and it doesn't change. My alarm/door system doesn't work properly anymore since the power first dropped so might that have anything to do with it? Any help wound be appreciated such as preveous expierince with similar problems, shops in sydney that might help, that sort of deal.

it would still pay to get your battery checked... they can die in a year... most places check it for free

take it to a kmart tyre and auto place.

I know they can put it on some load test thing to tell you if it's the battery.
