Does anyone know how the f*** to get scratches and scrapes off rims? Or who does it? and for how much? in sydney preferably, thanks alot.

oh and ps: if any of u have an older brother that is overseas and his car is sitting in the garage without rego and u dont have a licence and cant drive properly yet, DONT TAKE IT OUT BECAUSE YOU WILL DO SOMETHING STUPID LIKE SCRATCH THE F*****G EXPENSIVE RIMS!!!!!!

pps: At least i smoked up someone's neighbourhood and hit 160! :uh-huh:

If they're small, you might be able to polish them out, which souldn't cost too much. Might just have to take to a wheel place and get a few quotes.

Was that 160 standing still??? I did 120 standing still in my falcon... did a diff and stuffed 2nd gear at the same time!!!:eek: Bloody Fords!!

nah not standing still, i never think to look at the dash when im doing a burnout even when i tell myself i will, i just get caught in the rush...but somehow i managed to make his dash lights not work but thats my mate telling me we did 160...i just need to get the wheel looking nice n smooth again so he doesnt notice...i hope he doesnt notice...***kit ill just blame it on my mate!

It depends on what sort of wheels you have, or your brother has..

I had a very deep scratch in one of my chrome wheels when I was hit by another car, and the tyre place said that it could not be fixed because it went right through to the copper, and that's what the chrome needs to hold it onto the wheel..

if it's just light it can be re-chromed, or if they're painted touched up or you may be able to polish it out..

A few weeks ago my car decided to have an argument with a gutter and lets just say the gutter won.

A chunk of alloy about 20cm long by about 6mm deep was taken out of the edge of the rim by the gutter.

Cost $44 dollars to have fixed

Steve at Eastern Wheel Works in Bayswater, Melbourne did the job.
