I've been keeping a close tab on my fuel usage recently which is in the table below.

Reason i've done this is because I plan to get a PowerFC and plan to do some comparisons.

I have a R33 gtst with cat back exhaust, and an air filter. Next time I fill up i'll have a full exhaust + highflow cat + no exhaust leak. If anyone is interested I can continue posting updates and will let you know how the powerFC compares when I eventually get one.

Well , I was getting 400+kms per tank sydney driving (includes 40kms of 100km/h driving per day) on my stock + zorst R33 (150rwkw)

After mods (now 220rwkw on low boost, (14PSI) ) I can just get 300kms to a tank and thats driving like a grandma mostly, with a few squirts here and there.

Hmmm and I do 100 kms per day round trip for 5 days per week. Add weekends and thats approx 2 tanks per week. @ 1.00 per litre thats over $100 per week just in petrol - Holy Fark !!

I drove to Yarrawonga for new years (600km round trip). I filled up at the servo accross the road from my house before I left and the fuel light came on when I returned to the outskirts of Melb. About 550+km to the tank sitting on about 120km/h most of the way. Not bad me thinks!

my 2c. filled up full 2 days b4 the vic cruise at albert park pits. about 55 - 60L. got 480k's out of it before i filled up. my best record yet. and that was full of twisties, traffic light drags and top speed runs too. :D so it wasnt completely granny driving... :D

i get my best economy when i go on cruises believe it or not. Mainly cause my normal driving is shorter trips. Only had my 34 for about 6 weeks but have recorded 385 kms from 36 litres - highway driving only.

The tank is 65 litres. Reviews i have read say that it is a little more economical than the 33, i have seen figures of 9.4 l / 100 kms quoted.

What I don't understand is I get around 470km's to a tank driving around adelaide with 10km trips to work then 10km's back.

I give it quite a bit and often have runs through to third flat stick.

When I take it through the hills with giving it a hard time the worse i have got is 430km's.

Arn't the R33's meant to be better than the R32's on juice.

This is running 16psi also.

Yeah I dunno what the story is - as I've said, no matter how much I get up it, it's unusual not to get 450-500km out of the tank before the light comes on... some of you guys must pull the bung out of the fuel tank or something :D

Just wondering if Auto and Manual could make difference as acceleration tendincies would change.

I have a manual turbl line and i try to drive conservitively but still find myself in front of the traffic after accelerating from the lights!

Where as with my old commodore it had power but was an auto and had a tendincy to 'cruise' and saved fuel...

what do you all think?
