How To Hide The Pod Filter On R32 Gtr And Where To Buy Parts

hi all

just bought a R32 GTR V-SpecII and i just want to do some minor mods so i can hide the pod filters, i have seen some people putting a cover over it? anyone know where i can buy the parts or are they custom made?

the cops nowadays open bonnets for fun when they see an import, i hate to get defected just over the pods.

can u guys help???

Ive had pods on my GTR and a stock airbox with an s-tune filter.

There was zero difference between the two performance wise

But the good thing was that its stock and the cops never cared

Maybe thats worth a try

You can buy them off Unique Autosport or make one yourself out of stainless (0.5m I used) and make a teplate out of cardboard then cut out the stainless to match and either weld or pop rivit together, then insulate it with stuff from clarks foam and rubber.

Did the trick for me, heaps of people on here have done it. have a look at a few past threads good instructions.
