Wakefield Park Re-opens

Wakefield Park has re-opened after undergoing major works in the resurfacing of the circuit. This now gives Wakefield the satisfaction of having the freshest racing surface in the country.

The initial feedback from competitors is that the new surface is smoother and faster than the previous one.

Wakefield Park will be open for Speed of the Streets on the following days:

Tuesday 5th Feb

Thursday 7th Feb

Monday 11th Feb

Thursday 14th Feb

Monday 18th Feb

Tuesday 19th Feb

Thursday 21st Feb

Friday 22nd Feb (BIKES ONLY)

Monday 25th Feb

Thursday 28th Feb

Hi mate, The cost is $110, and you need to have either a CAMS or AASA licence.

Wakefield licences are actually AASA Licences, they have the logo in the top right corner.

My mrs got the wakie licence few weeks back with the autosports day, so she can now use that for AASA events that are held elsewhere also? Hope so!

Thats correct evil, they can be used at all AASA events.

I am not sure at present what is on for the next month, we might see if we can squeeze a friday or a weekend in somewhere for March.

Easter Saturday I am running a track day where electronic timing will be provided, if anyone is interested in that I will be posting the details in the coming weeks.
