i agree with dj there .. well about the feul gauge moving down faster when u pressing the pedal harder ... i notice that all the time ... i always measure from the time i fill up the tank to get how much i have actually used cause the gauge is pretty inaccurate ... i can drive my car hard all day long and only loose maybe 50km to a tank ... although my car is pretty much stock ...

On a few long trips (500km+) over the last 3 weeks i averaged 10-11l/100km with average speeds of around 140km/h, and including a few laps around bathurst (couldnt resist) plus some urban driving.

I was amazed, as in the city, my car drinks between 16-18l/100kms, a very large difference.

The only mods i have are an in box filter, catback and and fuel pump.

btw. I just realised that the difference between urban and highway driving in my skyline is how much my swift gti drinks altogether lol

on my stock ecu and stock boost i would average 14l/100km this equated to roughly 350-400km a tank with a mix of highway and city driving....

with the powerfc tuned and running 1bar boost i think i will equal or even better this average and that's with all the hard driving i've been doing. i'm waiting on the fleet report for next month prove this though.

a good tune makes a big difference to both performance and fuel consumption. currently i'm running a tad over 12:1 a/f ratio on full throttle, whereas with the stock ecu and stock boost i was at 10.5:1 a/f ratio - just way too much fuel imho... ;)
