i can only get my fingers under it to open. Thanks

Theres a "torsional like" bar under the parcel shelf that equalizes some of the weight of the boot. I would think, upgrading it could open the boot by simply hitting the lever.

Once removed the wing off a GTR (full of import water) and the thing shot up, slamming into the bump stops.

Yeah, in other words, leave it as is to avoid further hassles smile.gif
It's got a bloody great wing to counterweight the torsion spring. Remove the wing, and it will almost launch itself onto the bonnet.

No hassles - I wasn't joking :) I took it off temporarily after Rx'n from Japan so i could tap some holes and drain the 1.5L of water from it :D

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I have the opposite problem and was hoping that someone could help me out? I had a gtr wing on my GTS-T when i bought it. Now removing the wing it does exactly as described above, flings open furiously! how do I get it to just pop and not fling? I have 2 torsional bars but cannot see any form of step adjustment so would i be correct in assuming that you have one bar for no wieght and 2 for a heavy wing?

Any help would be most appreciated!
