2008 Transcore Classic Challenge

We’re pleased to announce the 2008 Transcore Classic Challenge – Perth’s best value classic car tarmac event, set to take place on the weekend of April 26-27. And we’re very happy to announce our new sponsor for the event – Transcore, which is a Perth based consultancy specialising in traffic engineering, transport planning and project management.

The rally this year will build on the enormous success we achieved last year, with over 20 competitive stages planned, including some at excellent new venues, an overnight stay in Mandurah and great social activities incorporated.

One of the new additions for this year will be the Start, set to take place at the Perth Motor Show, which is certain to add a new dimension to both events.

Hmmm very tempting, will be running in my new stroker motor about this time (if all goes to plan) do you you suppose this event will be abit to hard on a new engine?

Some people believe you should be a bit nasty on the run in anyway.

I would run the engine in before hand, as you don't want to spend $$ to enter then have hassles with the engine.

paul what are the rules with regards to tyres? (can you run semi?)

Mikey the rules is, there are no rules!

I think you will find they will have to be treaded (no full slicks) and they must meet ADR.
