ah k. You will need a FCD tuned through, need to set the 'cut' at the right point.

Boostworx remaps are only $550 inc. labour, and Im sure a majority of the SA people use Shaun to tune, and can vouch for how good he is.

And you get all those roads from NT to SA...:down:

most people in SA use Jeff The Speed Lab to do remaps... and if they dont they should... jeff's work is much better and the end result shows it. Also cheaper :D

lol he really is... Jeff has been doing remaps longer then Shaun, quite often gets a lot of shauns jobs in that need finishing touches done so they run well... the list goes on.

Besides, jeff showed shaun the ropes when it comes to maps..., im not saying shaun is no good. im just saying that there are better ecu remappers out there and i would dare say that jeff is up there.

the fact my motors have never popped, ever, on the track or dyno... and cop an absolute hiding... are a testimate to jeff's tuning.

Now... change "Jeff" to "Shaun" and that pretty much where I stand.

Not going to start a "My tuner kicks ass and your's is shit and I want to pee pee in his eye" War here....

Never commented on jeff, nor will I, having never met the man, only seen/driven exapmles of his handywork.

This is only going to end in a stalemate though, seeing as you are supported by Jeff/Speedlab, and Im supported by Shaun/Boostworx.

Roshambo you for it? :banana::down:

yours may be faster, but I have better wheel fitment. (18 x 9 +/- 0's and 18 x 10 +5's on a live axle 31 was probably the worst Idea in world history.)

So Mine looks great parked :D:):D

oh, and earnie and bert drift mascots.

It's amazing what you hear out there about various tuners from one day to the next.

I heard, from what I thought was a reliable source, not to ever take your car to Martin Donan.

I've now heard from much more reliable sources that he's the best tuner in Australia.

Very big statement, but like I said, I've heard that from reliable sources which include other tuners now.

Lol at this thread...

1. You will always hunger for more power. I am a little bored with 326kw at wheels now myself.

2. I have had tunes done by shaun, martin and john keen at southern hi tech dyno.

All were good but I have been super happy with johns work. Recommend him highly.

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
