Ok got a S2 R33 stock as it is apart from boost gauge and wheels....

lookin to get a boost controller or something similar and wanting to know what i can safely boost it to

i believe it is round 12psi? but lookin to probably tune up 2 bout 10psi....is this ok on all stock parts?

if u can jus let me know it would be great

Cheers

if you are not running some kind of fuel controller like minimum SAFC you should only be running it up to 10psi anything over and it will lean out and be R&R i do believe

Yes, this has been covered more then anything.

But, don't worry too much about damaging the car. If your ECU is stock it'll rich + retard at 12psi+ to save the turbo.

A tune/piggyback means you'll need to be careful to keep it at a safe level. 12psi should be the limit on a stock turbo. For a track day even less.

Get a boost controller (search 'turbotech' here and on ebay, very good and very cheap) and a boost gauge.

If you don't care about money get an electronic boost controller.

Do a search, many opinions are better than one :D

i would look at doing your exhaust before going to 12 psi. the stock exhaust is very restrictive and provides less than ideal conditions for your turbo at high boost levels.

i'd say maybe 10psi on stock exhaust, if that. also, look at upgrading your intercooler to an r34 side mount.

but what exactly should i search for.....?

wont be puttin it up higher that 10psi on stock...plan to go up to 8-10 psi......

as it is even with 'high boost' (4500rmp or whatever it kicks in at) i cant break 5psi...i have a boost gauge and i cant get the needle over 5psi no matter what i do....?

Exactly wat GTST said add extra flow by getting a 3" for turbo back system (forget the switch for loud n not loud) this will allow the turbine to create more boost for your system. Get a single stage or dual stage boost controller to allow for boost adjustment up to 12psi at maximum. Also maybe look into r43 SMIC upgrade or if you want go for a FMIC there is plently of options to choose from. Pm me if need be matt, hame
