Sounds like a silly question but im having trouble finding the engine number on my VQ25DET. Does anyone know where it is located ?

Its location is 03-G-07 Using the document from the link below, it is rear right hand drivers side of the block going off my paperwork.

I look in that location and there doesn't seem to be anything there Nd the reference drawing is a straight 6 and not a V6.
