You wont hit the limiter in 5th but i certainly hit redline in 4th and it was still going. God knows what the speedo was reading. Everything was happening so quickly.

You're doing about 190km/h indicated at approx 6000 rpm in 4th. The limiter is 7x00 rpm in a 35.

I just watched my video of myself doing it again to make sure.

I must admit when I read those two passages I was a bit wtf?!? but didn't want to say anything lest I be accused of having it in for you. I don't care really. I don't doubt at all you drove it. and well done, you certainly beat me to it. but I'm not so convinced on the whole redlining the gears part of the story...

I wanted to play with the gear settings on the multi readout that night but there just wasnt enough time.

I think he must have his gears mixed, he said he was doing 65kmh and just over 2000 rpm in 6th. Unless he meant he was in 4th , thats closer to the mark.

mate i would have loved to have kept it but some out there in cyberspace were putting pressure on the mods to have it changed - Do it for the children!!..sooo..i didnt have a choice really.

Had my GTST now for 4.5 yearsand I've never been in ANY model GTR, as driver or passenger.

The whooshing of the wind and the slight whine of the turbos at 1.2 bar of boost as you're approaching the wrong side of the "law" is simply addictive.

Just wondering you say 1.2 bar but when I read the official specs it says the turbos deliver 10.5psi? 1.2 bar makes more sense but just want to know if you or anyone else can clarify. Btw good read

He made a mistake. The R35 GTR peaks at 0.7bar. Around 10.5psi. (I think he added the other half a bar from what he had in his pants)

I made a quick video of the MFD in full screen boost gauge mode while i ran up through a few gears but i cant be bothered to upload it... Just take my word for it

Cheers mate, since initially reading 10.5psi I have been wondering what power it would make at 1.2bar or more with stockers. (edit before some smart arse comments) That is once modders crack the factory ecu

factory ecu is already cracked. nissan must have been helpful to get it sorted that quickly
