Was just wondering if anyone could tell me something about my cat? Wanted to finish of my exhaust with a split dump pipe and was wondering if i need to do my cat as well? Thanks liners.

mate ur cat has nothing to do with your dump pipe? you can change one or the other or even change both

Don't recognise it but it doesn't look great from the outside.

If you're unsure how old it is, or how good/crap it is i'd get a 3 inch upgrade. Metal cats are the way to go if you're not budget-tight.

My 2c is that the cat is the most restrictive exhaust component after the stock muffler.

yeah i know that, but ive got the stock dumper on there atm and am getting a split 3 inch dump put on. Just wanted to know if i had a hi flow cat on there, or is it the stock one. Dont want any bottle necks in the exhaust. eg stock cat.

just unbolt your cat and have check to see if its 3" all the way through. looking @ the pic it does look to be 3"

Thanks for the input people. Think I'll go for the JJR Stainless Split Dump Pipe from just jap. I'll ring them tomorrow to find out for sure, but anyone know what size they are? It don't say on website. Or just whatever size you ask for. Minimum 3 inch is what I'm after right?
