I am using the greddy with great results on my 25. The head is off atm for larger cam installation. This is the 2nd time I have lifted the head since we built the engine and on both occasions the evenness of the burn across all 6 has been very impressive. It would appear that the greddy does offer very even distribution and certainly has no probs delivering enough to make good power.

The cleaner engine bay is just another plus for this style of plenum. Thumbs up all the way from me.

I also have the greddy plenum,

If you are after a Q45 throttle body contact Throtle Bodies Australia

just make sure you state that they have the same TPS as SR20 (can anyone confirm this)

He makes custom billet throttle bodies,

MAKE SURE YOU SPECIFY EVERYTHING AND THAT HE KNOW WHAT A Q45 THROTTLE BODY IS

this will eliminate the hassle that I went through.

I didn't state the type of TPS and had a little trouble finding the universal TPS that they say they use.

It cost $550 delivered from memory but that was a while ago

RIPS ones are supposed to be good, I have got one on my RB30DET but have not run it yet - Hopfully get it tuned next week!

around $1200nzd

thats for the basic rb25 manifold, the rb26 ones are far more expensive...

Thats way dearer than a Q45 new form japan.... and the nissan Q45 tps works fine. And honestley the Q45 throttle body shits on anything aftermarket to drive, the staged linkage setup is a god send on some cars, alot of the aftermarket jobbies are great for track and drag but suck to live with day to day with on/off clutches and so forth.

Aftermarket throttle bodies are great IF you need it, me i'll take the Q45 on 90% of cars i do, and the a/m ones fill the rest of the requirements.

hahaah shit website.. terible photography..... kidding :) . nice work darren it looks like one of your websites (background). i was going to contact you about some web work, can you fix your portfolio link on your site?

What's the stock one good for?

Getting really angry and annoyed when trying to change spark plugs ;)

Just realised you were talking about the throttle body and not the plenum.......carry on.

Wondering whether to get a bigger TB for my forward facing plenum..

Yeah ive been wondering that aswell. Autosalon did a good review on the Hypertune one on their R33, said throttle response was a lot sharper and the dyno graph showed a power gain right throughout the rev range. Hmm...

dave i still have a rips plenum here. would love to trial fit it on your motor to see y i couldnt get it on mine. engine out of the car would make it a bit easier. gasket matched it was something else maybe water line or air reg or something.

    • Hello everyone. I believe I have s1 headlights but I just wanted to make sure and getting confirmation from you all. Thanks in advance for your help!
    • Crazy how good the aero bar looks compared to the stock one
    • Yes, but you will need to rewire all the things that are different. CAS, coils, etc. Yes, but there is no IAT. What? You can use anything you like. It just has to be hooked up so that it will work.     Or are you wanting to just plug and play without having to do any thinking/work?
    • It's been a little over a decade since I bought the S15. As I did on my socials, I'll share some of my favorite pictures from over the years further below. If you haven't realised, pretty much all the pictures in my posts are ones I've taken.  In terms of updates, I don't have pictures, but I acquired a near-perfect pair of fog lights from a friend of mine, so those got swapped in for the pair I already had. As for the JZX110, I just got it back from being fixed. A few weeks back, I was on the highway when I suddenly drove over something with very little time to react. It was probably the size of a soccer ball, but it went under the car and banged into the underside pretty loudly. I pulled over and realized the fluid leaking was fuel, and of course, it was right near my exhaust. This required replacing the fuel tank. If you happen to be in the same predicament, thankfully this car shares a fuel tank with the JZS171, IS200, and IS300, so it wasn't too painful to replace. Enjoy some pictures as mentioned above, including the carnage from the fuel tank and a bonus picture I came across which shows how ridiculously shiny the Bugels are on the 110. So many more pictures I could share of the S15 but this will do for today, enjoy.
