Found Sweet Oil Filters, Double Pleat But High Flow And Decent Filtering.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys finally a killer filter at a good price. I ve been a fan of SARD and KN filters for a long time but they are not always easy to come by and the KN ones still have some short comings. I dont want this to sound like an ad but i know these have been a long time coming and are the product of over 12 months of R&D and testing. They are pressure tested further than any other filter and feature double pleating to filter better and also have an internal magnet to hold any nasties.

These Filters have several advantages over any other filter on the market and look killer too (not that that is important). There is an application list and these things can be bought from any AUTOBARN store (i have also just signed them on to be the sole supplier to my new workshop, i am that impressed).

Hey i went into autobarn in a victorian store the other day asking for these, do you have a part number or specific autobarn that you can buy these from because the bloke i spoke to didn't now anything about them and neither did any of the other guys. Also they had never heard of them at the repco i went to either. Do you know when/if they are planning to release them at all stores? I'm expecting it to be up to the idividual stores if thet choose to carry this line of filters.

Cheers

Rob

Can't help with the specific stores but the very first post had two pictures with what looks like part numbers. Are RB26's skyline the Z145A? (I know its a number like that but can't quite remember).

Cheers found one at sunshine autobarn the other day. The part numbers for these filters are the same as your normal part number that you would usually buy. Z145A would fit on GTR.

Ok quick question, what are the shortcomings of the K&N filter, and are they still better than a standard filter? Whats so much better about these ones.

I don't have the data at hand ATM (can't find link) but I saw a back-to-back test awhile back that actually rated the std Nissan filter at #2 out of a whole shiteload of filters & way above a lot of the big "name" brands. I don't remember what was #1 but I do remember whoever made FRAM filters also made several more (same filter re-branded) & it was CRAP. I'll try & find the info & post it up.
