livicuru
hey man im in the same boat. i have done some research and have seen most friends with gtr's using the hi octance racing aluminium 8L sumps. They are bigger than the trust ones. Hi octane also make them in cast steel now too. They wanted $700 just for the sump and $1200 all up if you send your standard sump and they will weld it up and modify the oil pick up. The aluminium one was $1500 all up...... im still tossing up which way to go. Already have a tomei pump. Just need the rocker cover baffles, which they sell to. or you can get the mines ones from greenline. They other thing is the oil restrictor in the block (lucky i have it already) and they other issue is drilling out the head to return/drain the oil back to the sump. I didnt do this so im spewing. I have read on here that its important to have. i guess you could probably do a search on here and read more. Good luck Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/205042-wtb-sump-extention/#findComment-3631968 Share on other sites
Merli
HiOctane one is great, but about 3 times the price of the Trust sump extension, which has been used on many track cars and proven to work just fine. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fs...st-t206631.html Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/205042-wtb-sump-extention/#findComment-3655448 Share on other sites
