Vicdrift Practice At Melbournes Calder Park 9/2/08

Hey all,

Just letting you all know that this Saturday the 9th of feb is the first practice DAY of the year for the VicDrift club.

Venue- Calder Park raceway

Gates open at 8:00am

on track by 9:00am

off track at 4:00pm

Gates shut at 5:00pm

$220 to drive for non members

$190 to drive for members

$20 to spectate

$30 if you want to be a passenger in ya mates car.

Due to the expense of hiring the track this may be the first and LAST daytime weekend at calder park, so if you think you might like to come to a nearby venue to watch some drift then this is the time.............Because after this one it will just be winton......probably

id love to take a friend out for a thrash in the passenger seat. at oran park we cant take passengers out. though i think it is ok to do so at wakefield park. not sure about EC either.

to bad about the hireing costs. bobby jane shut calder dragway. due to illness. now calder park raceway is becoming more and more distant for hire. lucky you still have old faithfull "winton".
