I always ignore the km's that I see on an import car.

Most of them are wound back. For instance my skyline says that it has 38,000 km's on the clock!

Yeah right! :)

I'd say more like 130,000 km's

If the clock is say 160,000km's then I would be a little bit worried.

But if you look at the condition of the seats, steerring wheel, door sills, etc, you should be able to roughly guess the wear and tear on the car.
