hi all...

i got my new white 300km/h speedo a few wks ago and sum LED's last wk... it came time to install them and it all went fine... i put the cluster back in place and took it 4 a drive... used my navman to calibrate the speed n all good... time came to put the needle stop back in place... went in fine... go 2 put the clear plastic cover back on n uh oh... there is all fine black mist on the outside of the shield... :D im pretty sure is paint... i never noticed it b4 cuz i had the factory 180 black kit n now with the white speedo it looks shithouse... i tried soapy water 1st... no luck... tried nail polish remover... no luck... then i got out the turps n tried... no luck!! :P

has anyone else had this problem or have any more ideas to get this SH*T it off?

meguires plastx might work

u can use it on ur headlights too

i got hold of sum PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish stuff 2day from autobarn... did pretty well... took a while tho n i ended up using half the bottle if not more... but cant complain with the finished result... cost me $20- and a bit of work but its bettter then what it was...
