Rims For R32 Gts-t

Hey guys im looking at getting some 18 inch rims for my 32 and when i went to test fit them they wouldn't go on the front as the tire was hitting against the upper control arm. the tire size was 18x45x245 if i was to put some 18x35x235's on there would they then fit??? what size rims and tires do others have on their 32's

Whats the offset and width of the rim?

offset is +35 and width is 9

I think you would need less offset for that width.. i.e. 9" wide with gtr offset (+20) would likely fit on the inside but hang outside the guard.

*shrug* I run 17x7.5, no need for bling round here brudda

yeah i was thinking that i might need 18x8 rims with 235s on to stop from hitting the control arm (also i havent forgotten about your money just having trouble getting to the bank )

I ran 18x8 with 235's without too much hassle. I just needed a small spacer (5mm maybe? I didn't measure) to clear the brake calliper and all was sweet. Didn't even rub on the arch lining which surprised me a little.

alright i might just try putting some 235s on the front and see how it goes cheers

I don't think it would make anydifference... that extra inch of rom width is what's causing issues, 235 will be very stretched over a 9 inch wide rim. You won't be able to fit a 9 inch wide rim on there without a reasonable sized spacer or low offset rims. If you already have the rims I'd suggest the spacer option.

alright i have some spacers already so ill try putting them on its only the tyre that is hitting the control arm though not the rim
