to be honest ben , i dont know

the chassis will be sandblasted to remove all body deadner and seam sealer and then heated before doing seam welding to get most of the under seam sealer out,

i would guess we will probably remove 20 odd kilo of body deadner and i think the shell weight is around the 300/350 kilo mark currently, we havent weighed it yet.

there is a few areas we were concerned about in regards to acid dipping without intimate knowledge of the process eg r34 has dual skined firewalls, removing all the acid out of places like that may be a bit of a nightmare, secondly i have a sandblast booth available to me so that is the easiest & an effective method for us.

must be a bloody big sand blasting cabinet you have russ! I always feel like homer simpson at the nuclear power plant when using the dicky little cabinet we have. plus the gloves have holes which is not so nice. I want to come play with your toys.

i will ask mark , he quotes but bloody cheap for you

we wouldnt blast the large outside flat panel areas, as they stretch, but all the floor inside and out wheel arches, engine bay, boot etc would all get done

They don't pull out of the turns quite the same without it!

dry sump system is being sorted out.

I'm all eyes and ears when its comes to this. please take 10 million photos of this :nyaanyaa:

i'm considering doing one as i'm between rebuilds and really want a dry sump rather than the aftermarket jap stuff. + i see it pretty much similar in prices compared to the way you need to go with jap pump, sump etc etc etc

ahhh so your gunna turn corners!! awsome that will be great to see on track mate! cant wait

i think the superlap date is just about finalized!

Oh good! Is the track chosen aswel? ;)

Your sandblasting shed is huge!

hey roy

we only use 30/60 garnet, as it is to hard for us to change media as there is more than 8 ton in the hopper all the time!

yeah it's a bloody big unit, over seventy foot long & twenty feet high! ;)
