yep, off the top of my head they have: carbon bar, undertray and carnards, carbon front guards, carbon side skirts, carbon rear guards, carbon doors, carbon boot, carbon wing, carbon dash, carbon bonnet and carbon mirrors. actually the front bar is FRP but still very light.

It is going to look so nice when it's done. It will be interesting to see what it weighs. I'm tipping under 1300kg. maybe as low as 1200.

:ninja:

Geez, and I was excited picking up my carbon dash panel last night! :P

Lol...yep and boeing are left wondering where all their carbon has gone :)

Are you taking suggestions on your next event?

Individual classes for FWD, RWD and AWD. I have a very underpowered car, but i'd have a crack at the FWD guys in the open class!

Both Open & clubsprint class have categories within them covering fastest FWD, RWD & AWD etc.

more updates soon

cheers russ

lol, mark is good value. when he picked up the dash he says "well i'm a bit dissapointed, they made it too heavy, it's about a kilo...". bastard!

Dane: dash will be aimsports.

roy mate, you know you are a sick unit when you can look at a dash cut out and distinguish the outline differences betwen a stack, motec, defi, or MXL dash... seek help little buddy. we are all here for you... hug.gif

Yeah, by the time I sold my defi's the Stack only cost me about $550 extra, and if I had of never bought them new then the difference would have been negligible.

Pity the lap timer is $1400... but I got one for $150 :):D:)

Why did you choose to go the MXL route Russ? The datalogging? I was just about to buy one but I liked the analogue tacho of the stack, as well as the simplicity of it's harness.

hey roy you are welcome to build our car. can't provide any cash though...

i agree btw, the dash looks sweet but too heavy. will weigh our air-dash once it is ready for comparison
