Stack lap timer for $150!!... tell me where Dane!!

Haha sorry Stuart, but it was pure luck mate! I looked on ebay in the US and got one for $120US or something ridiculous. Was a pain to get here, had to ship it on a container and it took 3 months but it was worth it :D

hey this is just my theory....but a car you buy is not like a car you build.

I would happily get rid of something I bought, but once you've put the blood and sweat (lots of blood lol) into it, it would be like selling one of your children. We always run them until we kill them . And there must be other people like me because there are far more race cars in garages than their are regularly on racetracks

I agree with you. It was easy for me to put my old RX7 up for sale (it got stolen before it was sold), but letting go of the 180 after 5 years would be a lot more difficult. When you build it you appreciate exactly how much work has gone into it.

I've heard it's coming together well..... but it was entered in TT this year but a no-show? whats the scoop Stu?

Wasn't 100% finished.

Going to be wild when its done and hopefully Matt gets to push it to its limits :D

yeah duncan is right. i've had a fair few GTRs now. bought and sold a couple, but the first GTR I ever owned I still have. that car needed a bit of love when I got it, and i've done lots to it over the years so it would be very hard to part with.

yeah matt entered it with confidence of it being finished, but some issues with suppliers caused delays early on and and a few weeks out from TT the pin was pulled as it just wasn't going to be finished in time.

hes bang up for next year though and the plan is to get some testing in prior... will be a hellva thing

keep talkin Ben.... i am enjoying it!

looks like you had a beautiful r32!! i just love em... i love the way they drive and feel and i also love the hard edge they have when modded & the driver has to do all the work very rewarding driving one as you guys know.

believe me i am not in a hurry to sell it and will be pushing to get rid of the r33 , and cover up the r32 for a while.

cheers russ
