they are fat wheels!

have you seen the veilside r32gtr? there is a mob in in UK from gtr forums who still offers this kit & he squeezes 14inch wheels on the front & rear - now that is FAT!

it is a good question, how did they fit large wheels without massive guards on the supra?

I'll go have a look at mine in a sec, try and take a couple of pics

but it looks like they tilted the shocks over more

See the strut tops, they are in the centre on the road car, so angling them across would give a bit more room

Edit just had a look under mine, with a smaller diameter front spring (mine are standard size king springs) there would be easily room for a 10-10.5" rim, might lose a little steering lock though

very observant!

this is the only place it fouls on the gtr, against the strut towers...regarding full lock though, this would not be a concern for any circuit car BUT street yes.

im running 10inch front & rear & have plenty of clearance, from memory about 1 inch. wheels sits nice & dont stick out

Just plugged in some numbers, for me to run a 10" wheel on the front it would need to be a +30 offset and a bit more -ve camber, I reckon if I pulled the splash guards out I would just have enough room to get full lock

If only the Supra was this competitive back in teh day

There are two very tasty cars for sale at the moment. Steve Richards is building up an Escort...was really hoping he was going to join the category

what cars would they be for sale? are they advertised online?

The last of the Caltex Bond Sierras is for sale. Has all the late model post Grp A kit homologated so is lighter, 6 sps etc. The other is a Japanese Grp A car which would be interesting to get your hands in to see ince and for all how it lines up to the local GTRs

Wait on, from that sentence it sounds like you're saying a Japanese grp a GTR is for sale? Which one?

Yeh, if the numbers I was told about the Japanese cars are correct then I think its going to take a Powerball winner to get one landed here and racing. Was it one of the usual suspects looking at the Calsonic car or a fresh face? I was told the other weekend that this is for sale...(Taisan)

I am not 100% sure but I think the 1990 & 1993 winner was the Impul/Calsonic GTR. In 1991/1992 Hasemi Motorsport

Interesting to see that Dunlop, Bridgestone and Tokohama all supported different GTR teams. In Aus the GIO cars often suffered being on Dunlops vs Gibson on Yokohamas...plus they were of course a customer car and somewhat privateer team

And its no real decision...you woudl have to take this over the GTR...as cool as the GTRs are, they are just waay too much money when you can get this for 1/3 of the price

Shame you cant paint it up in the earlier colour scheme
