You may need coilovers on the rear. The front should be ok though with 20's.

don't like this car at all(!!!), but it could be done quite tastefully if you wanted to

I like the color, but imo rims that big just look weird. The bottom pic looks like a toy/model car.

If you do end up doing it mate, why not try something other than a full face chrome or black rim? Actually call up volk and get some custom 22" gold GTC's, not that could be worthwhile.

I agree... get some custom forged Volks or Works made to your specs and then see who is a tight arse.

im sure most people here could afford some cheap arse 22 inch fully hektic chromies off the shelf at tempe tyres but choose not to for many reasons.... one cos it looks stupid on any skyline, two cos the are heavy and slow you down, three - they are stupid.

I reckon if that blue R33 had some polished Work Meisters in 19 inch it would look nice and tuff... but not with those wheels!

Bingo!

Can I just bring a few points to light..

1) Legality.. in ANY state 22's will shit all over the legal increase or rolling diameter.. even on the tiniest sidewall possible..

2) Side wall.. the ride will be so unbearibly uncomfortable you wont want to drive your car..

3) Rolling diameter.. say goodbye to your acceleration.. You will loose heaps of performance due to the increase.. (i somehow dont think your too keen on performance though)

4) Weight/Driveline.. Dont even bother trying to drop clutches or do burnout.. you will bust prop/drive shafts.. screw diffs etc. etc.

Bear in mind you will need to get the right offset..

Rolling guards are a must..

You cant go too wide on rim..

just something to think about..

+1 Fark those ones on the blue one look gay. I like big rims, but they have to suit the car. My mate had 22" TIS rims on his 300C from the US and they looked awesome and were worth a lot of cash. Suited the car because they looked normal under the gaurds. On a skyline it looks out of place and looks absolutely stupid, especially full faced chrome rims.
