yeah a 32 turbo and 33 are very different.

its hard to measure and come to a conclusion that it would be quicker than a stock 33 simply because you 'raced' one on the street.

- he might not have been giving it as much

- missed a gear

- didnt know he was racing you

- or been a real shit driver

many factors..

just out of curiosity, how come you have a 32 turbo on a 33 anyway?

yeh righto he just flew past me but didnt no we where racing lol... we where side by side at about 3500rpm in 3rd and i just pulled away explain that u goose why would i lie only thing im running 10psi he might have been stock boost but from 7psi to 10psi isnt much diff i have spoken to so many people about this there telling me r32 and r33 turbo are same size so i belive them if they pull them apart.

The turbos are NOT the same.

Whichever turbo builder is telling you they ARE, I wouldn't be going back there.

I also suggest you pull your head out of your ass or you may find people around here won't be so willing to help with your queries.

"r32 and r33 turbo are same size so i belive them if they pull them apart."

whoever told you that they were the same turbo is very misinformed...

 a simple search on this wonderful forum...

enjoy

coming on sau braggin about your street racing portfolio doesnt exactly give skyline owners the respect and fare go we all want. we already have a bad name.

im glad you have the street cred you want though.

who exactly is pulling apart these turbos...

i would really like to meet them, they sound educated and well informed.

lol i belive i was asking for help and peoples where gettting smart

i believe ur the one being smart when u obviously dont no much and dont want to believe facts or learn. And if you think 7 to 10 psi doesnt make much difference then ur sadly mistaken, it might have been enough to pull away cos u hit full boost quicker . no one will help u with a attitude like this,

HAHAHAAAAA funny thread!!! i think you should sell ur skyline and buy one of them fully sick VR commodores, chuck some chrome hubcaps from supercheap on it and drill a few holes in ur muffler to make it go faster, and mabee some pink fluffy dice? might help u pull chicks. :P

You see... here's the problem with telling lies to impress people.

You gotta remember what you said. and on the intamanet, you have to realise that it's on the screen in plain text.

im telling you it flys past a stock r33 as i beat one the other day he did the whole turning right thing after it lol

some more interesting facts for you.

A stock RB25det with 7psi makes 187kw or about 140rwkw.

with boost set to 10psi and some cheap tuning on an SAFC the same car can make 190rwkw.

wow - 50rwkw extra from only 3psi of boost.

I'm normally a nice guy ( lol ) but sometimes a dickhead like you come along just asking for it with your stupid attitude that you know more about the workings of a skyline than EVERYONE else on a skyline forum.

Poor kid, dealt pwnage after pwnage. I tried to warn him..

impresss you lol im asking questions and getting stupid reply from dickheads that where abused as children

so wonder what my car was making to beat this r33 im interested to no.. someone here have any idea why my car was faster then this most likly stock r33 coz others just no how to be idots

thanks thats makes sence... but i didnt give lip i copped it and yes i do want to learn unike most of these other gooses who tell there tuners the advice they get form here and the think there top shittttt

Impress me? wtf?

Mate, you don't listen to anything do you? and making offensive comments (much more offensive that what is being dealt to you) isn't going to make things any better.

If you want to know how much power your engine is making, get it on a dyno.

There is a wealth of information on this wonderful forum, aswell as a lot of knowledgable people willing to help, so don't be a knob-spanker about it.

Oh and it's "idiot".

    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
    • Hello, I believe my car was imported to America in the 2000s by Kaizo Industries. Would anyone be able to help me find more info on them? I've only found all the basic stuff like that paul walker bnr34, them being shutdown by feds, just stuff like that. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
    • I am using Motec M150.  I am not working on the car myself actually.  My workshop is giving all these info, they are quite reputable in the industry and are very familiar with Motec and RBs and have done a few big setups with VCam and single turbo on RBs.  In fact, they built and tuned my engine from day one.  But they are stumped with my engine at the moment and cannot work out how come the compression is so low with the VCam. They told me that they have now swapped in some Kelford cams (without the VCam) and can achieve around 130psi compression and the low end torque is better, but now the engine is doughy as.  It boosts and peaks at more than 1000rpm slower, with twin HKS GTIII RS, it doesn't get full boost until over 5000rpm. I have always thought the VCam was a bit disappointing at the low rpm. To a point I had to ride the clutch a fair bit to get up a small hill from stand still.  That was when I had a clutch.  Now changing to a 8HP, I don't have that luxury and this problem has become a major issue. I am beginning to think the VCam never work since the day it was installed.  Maybe it was just sitting at the most advanced point, that is why it went good at top end but very ordinary at the bottom.  Therefore, with the help of the Holinger 6 speed and paddle shift, as long as it was moving, it drove pretty good.
