I just changed my R33 fuel filter the the hose that leads from it to the fuel rail (had a small split, didn't want to leave it).

The filter and hose have no fuel in them and i'm cautious to start it without priming the system to purge the air pocket.

Is it just a matter of turning the ignition on and off like 10 times to prime the pump?

Thanks for possibly saving my life :P

It's only air. Just because it's coming into the cylinder via the injector rather than the throttle body, it's still just air.

Just start the engine normally (it might take a bit longer than usual while the system builds full fuel pressure).
